"After all this time? Always."

Since it is the first real post you guys know next to nothing about me. Well, your wishes came true because here I am, telling you one of my darkest secrets: I am a Potterhead.

You know how Katy Perry fans are called Kitty Cats? And Justin  Bieber's *trowing up* are called Believers? And One Direction's *trowing up again* are Directioners? Okay I admit that is a bunch of really bad examples but still, you get the concept, when they are fans, there is a name for them.

Now you are wondering, "what is a Potterhead?". Don't worry, we are not aliens, we are not a bunch of weed addicts that smoke pot, we are simply a community that loves the universe that the goddess of writing J.K.Rowling created (the real one is Calliope in Greek mythology but that's for another post).

Harry Potter is a saga composed of 7 books  (The Cursed Child doesn't count to my eyes) and 8 movies, made with the story of the books but with way less details. The principal character is Harry Potter (Duh!), an orphan that grew up in his aunt's family that hates him. He then goes to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, were he meets his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Together, they flirt with death every year by going on adventures crazier than you could ever imagine with magical creatures and morons.

What's great with this, it is that not only the main story is good, but there is also a whole universe intricate with its own history, government, currency, challenges and every character is a whole person, with a background and a reason behind his every move, not just "I am the bad guy, I am mean". The girls are not only there as a figure, as girlfriends and support. They are strong, they are intelligent, the are fierce, they are the figure of what a "strong female character"is. The bad boys are mean, but we have a glimpse of their family and their struggles and the sacrifices they had to make to get this far in life. Truth to be told, even the weak characters are badasses.

If you're ever wondering what to read and you haven't read it yet, go! What are you still doing here? Go to the nearest library and start NOW!
